Eighty people fished Nocona. Let me say
that again - EIGHTY people fished Nocona. By my records, the
largest tournament we had before was 66 at

                        Possum

                        Kingdom

in 1990. I am really impressed with our club because we are
fishing more people than any club that I know and more than
some of the Bigger Open tournaments. This is a sign that we
are doing something right!  Keep it up.
                  Nocona has
                  big fish and it showed.

                  We all
didn't get the big ones but several landed some nice fish.
Scott Kelly, a new member this year, brought in the winning
sack of 10.70 lbs with a 7.51 lb kicker. Roger Malone, second
place overall, showed us again why he is the angler of the
year from last year bringing in 8.33 lb sack. David Mulcahy
found a 6.58 lb lunker to help his bag to win third with 8.27
lbs. Also, we had many anglers weigh in a least one fish and
Tim Johnson & Elaine Barnes did a great job with the weigh
in. They reported that all money was accounted for and wanted
to thank you all for making it easier for them during this
process. I know it was a long drive, but this tournament was
                  great.
